Paladin's Process of Recruitment

Initiation - as a first step in any assignment, Paladin reviews the Client Company’s history and their particular industry niche. Through consultation with the client, Paladin will develop an understanding of the organisation's culture, define the job and describe the specific criteria for the position to be filled.

Definition - after the personal and professional qualifications of the positions are identified, Paladin will prepare a comprehensive job description for the client's review. Upon the client's approval, the description will be used to communicate the scope of the opportunity to Paladin's consultancy and to prospective candidates.

Strategy - given the time and other parameters, Paladin will determine the strategy most appropriate.

Research - Paladin will identify all sources likely to generate potential candidates. These include target companies, industry leaders, Paladin's own database and extensive contact network.

Interviews - Paladin will then conduct personal interviews with those prospects who appear to be best suited for the position, to evaluate their qualifications, motivation and compatibility with the client's culture and the level of interest in the specific opportunity.

Selection - from the interview process, candidates are chosen for presentation to the client. Presentations take the form of detailed reports about the candidate's current position and responsibilities and our appraisal of the individual's ability to fit the defined specification. The client can then select candidates for personal interviews, which will be defined as the Shortlist.

Personality assessments - these can be completed on behalf of the client by Paladin consultants for the final shortlist when required.

References - Paladin, at the request of the client and with the candidate's permission, can conduct reference checks in order to verify the information presented and impressions gained during the interview process.

Negotiation - Paladin will work closely with both the client and candidates to design a compensation package calculated to satisfy both parties.
